Wagatwe Wanjuki is a feminist activist, speaker, writer, and digital strategist best known for her work as a national campus anti-violence advocate. Since launching a campaign for a better sexual assault policy at Tufts University in 2009, she's continued to work for a world free of gender-based violence.
As a sought-out writer on social issues, she's been published in outlets including BuzzFeed, Feministing, Upworthy, The Establishment, Cosmopolitan.com, The Daily Dot, ESSENCE magazine, and The New York Times. Her commentary on sexual violence and related issues appearances include The Daily Show, Democracy Now!, CNN, and MSNBC's All in with Chris Hayes. She's also a sought-out speaker on the lecture circuit; her past engagements include Rutgers, Stanford, Yale, and Delaware County Community College. In July 2016, she co-founded a new anti-rape organization — Survivors Eradicating Rape Culture. Its inaugural campaign, #JustSaySorry, received international media attention with one video covering the campaign racking up over 7 million views in one week. |

Josef Canaria is the Campus Sexual Assault Project Coordinator at the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault (LaFASA), where he provides technical assistance to the 39 institutions of higher education in Louisiana in regards to their policies and protocols related to the response and prevention of sexual violence. He has been a part of LaFASA for three years, where he was previously the Engaging Men Coordinator and Program Assistant. Before LaFASA, Josef served as an Americorps Member for City Year San Antonio, where he provided individualized support to under-served 4th grade students.
Winter Claire Randall, a life-long New Orleanian, is an alumni of the University of New Orleans and an active volunteer and activist in her community. She is the Clinic Escort Coordinator for the New Orleans Abortion Fund and a volunteer with the New Orleans Sexual Assault Response Team. She is also active in adult and children's literacy, "get out the vote" efforts, and menstruation education for girls. She spends her days in the file room of a mid-size law firm to pay the bills, and she lives in the Marigny with her cheeky chappy Scottish husband, three dogs, two cats, and a turtle.

Kristen Crain is a survivor-turned-activist from New Orleans. After taking on the local justice system for their mishandling of her case, she founded Judicial Reform for Sex Crimes NOLA (JRSC). CARE (consent: ask, respect, empower) Jessie Nieblas received her Master of Public Health from Tulane University in the Department of Global Community Health and Behavioral Science and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara in Women's Studies. In her work on sexual violence prevention and intervention, reproductive health and rights, and health care access, Jessie has designed, implemented, and evaluated programs; conducted outreach and engagement efforts with diverse communities; and raised funds through direct appeals, grants, and events. She has served as co-chair of Take Back the Night at UCSB, volunteered on RAINN's Online Hotline, and co-founded a fund to provide financial assistance to women needing abortion care in Louisiana. Lauren Hind is an image maker and performance artist based in New Orleans. Her work explores the body as a political cannon for healing trauma. Her films and photographs have been shown worldwide, including New Orleans' own Contemporary Arts Center. She has since moved from behind the camera finding herself in front of live audiences - and for the first time in her life, she feels alive. Riot Mueller is a director, performer and theater deviser from Seattle, WA, living and working in New Orleans, LA. She regularly performs and teaches at The New Movement Theater for comedy, sketch and stand-up. She is also the host of the New Orleans Moth, a monthly community story-telling event. Sexual Healing: A Work in Process is a living document of one woman’s fervent effort to heal her own sexual trauma. Through documentation, archival video, dance and text, Lauren Hind, a 22 time sexual assault and incest survivor, shares her journey to reclaim her body, voice, and self-worth. Healing space will be offered before, during and after the performance to allow audience members to process the material.
