Conference Info

The 2nd annual LSASAC will include panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities for sexual assault activists from across Louisiana. We hope to provide a casual, collaborative, and creative environment for students, administrators, faculty, and community members to gather and share their experiences about sexual assault activism on their college campuses.

The conference will take place at Tulane University's Lavin Bernick Center, located at:

Hannah Novak

Hannah Novak is a co-organizer for the 2017 Louisiana Sexual Assault Student Activist Conference. She is a senior in Public Health at Tulane and the President of Tulane's Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline and Education. She is also member of the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coalition, Tulane University Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force, New Orleans Sexual Assault Response Team, Tulane University Peer Health Educator, and a Campus Program Assistant through the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault. This is her second year organizing the LSASA Conference.

Helen Robins
​
Helen Robins is a co-organizer for the Louisiana Sexual Assault Student Activist Conference. She is currently a junior at Tulane University studying Management and International Development. In addition to being a conference organizer, she is a member of Tulane’s Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline and Education program, which she joined after two years of sexual assault education experience with a Peer Mentor program in high school. She also sits on the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Committee, and completed a sexual violence prevention community service fellowship through Tulane’s Public Service Fellows program last year. This is her first year organizing the conference.
